Our little family of snowman here are truly one of a kind pieces. Hand crafted here in Vincennes by local artist, Mary Ernst, these guys really bring out the Christmas cheer. The "mom" is about 5 feet tall and dressed to the "nines" with fur muff and red wool coat with earring and a fur hat to complete her ensemble. The "dad", of course, is dressed to do his outside chore, birdfeeding. complete with his sock hat and glasses and a bag of birdseed. The two "kids" are dressed for play, with the little guy holding a football and the "tween" wearing her poodle skirt and holding an old 45 record. These guys a must-have for any snowman lover.
Here cozied up in front of the fireplace are some more of our snowman pieces. The wooden snowman on the sled is wishing you all "Happy Winter" with this sign. (Who does he think he's fooling?) Handcrafted stockings are hung from the mantle with care, along with the snow shovel hand painted with a message of "Winter Blessings". The hand crafted "snowkids" are just too cute in their little red wagon. Big brother is taking little sister for a ride. All dressed for outside with their sweaters and sock hats, these two would warm any winter heart!!!!
